We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and other applicable UAE laws.

DubiMotors is an AI-powered vehicle marketplace operating in the UAE. We connect buyers and sellers of cars, motorcycles, boats, jet skis, heavy vehicles, number plates, and auto accessories.

2. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:

- AI features: When you use our AI Listing Assistant, VIN decoder, or Dubi AI Agent

5. AI Features and Your Data
AI Listing Verification
When you submit a listing, our AI system analyses the listing content to detect fraud, fake listings, wrong categories, and unrealistic pricing. This analysis is automated. Listing data processed through this system is not used to train our AI models.
AI Price Estimator
Vehicle details you enter are sent to our AI system to generate a price estimate. This data is processed in real time and is not stored separately from your listing data.
AI Description Generator
Vehicle details you enter are used to generate a listing description. The generated content is presented to you for review before publishing.
Dubi AI Agent
Queries you submit to the Dubi AI Agent are processed by our AI system to generate responses. These queries may be stored for quality improvement and abuse prevention purposes. We do not share your AI Agent queries with third parties for marketing purposes.
VIN Decoder
VIN numbers you enter are sent to a third-party VIN database provider to retrieve vehicle specifications. The VIN number is shared with this provider solely for this purpose.
6. Sign-In with Google and Other Third-Party Sign-In Providers
You can create or access your DubiMotors account using a third-party sign-in provider such as Google ("Sign-In Providers"). When you choose to do so, the following applies.
Information We Receive
When you sign in with Google, we receive a limited set of profile information from Google, namely:
- Your email address: used to create and identify your DubiMotors account
- Your name: displayed as the default name on your DubiMotors profile (you can change this at any time)
- Your Google profile photo URL: used only to display an avatar in your DubiMotors profile
- A unique Google account identifier: used internally to link your sign-ins to your DubiMotors account
What We Do Not Access
We only request the standard sign-in scopes (email, profile, and openid). We do not access, request, or store:
- Your Gmail messages or contents
- Your Google Drive files
- Your Google Calendar events
- Your Google Contacts
- Your YouTube history, watch activity, or any other Google service data
- Any other Google data beyond the four items listed above
How We Use This Information
We use the information received from Google solely to:
- Create your DubiMotors account on your first sign-in
- Sign you back in to your DubiMotors account on subsequent visits
- Display your name and avatar on your DubiMotors profile
- Contact you at the email address provided regarding your account or activity on the Platform
Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell, rent, or share the information received from Google with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles. Information shared with our service providers (such as our authentication infrastructure provider, Supabase) is shared only as strictly necessary to operate the Platform.
Retention and Deletion
The information we receive from Google is retained for as long as your DubiMotors account is active. If you delete your DubiMotors account, this information is deleted from our active systems within 30 days, subject to any retention required by UAE law.
You can also disconnect DubiMotors from your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page. Doing so will prevent further sign-ins via Google but will not delete data already stored in your DubiMotors account.
Limited Use Disclosure
DubiMotors's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:
- Other users: Your name, phone number (if you choose to display it), and listing details are visible to other users
- Service providers: Cloud hosting (Render), authentication and database infrastructure (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), payment processors, analytics providers (Google Analytics), and AI API providers (OpenAI)
- VIN data providers: Third-party vehicle data APIs used to decode VIN numbers
- Law enforcement: Where required by UAE law or in response to a valid legal request
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition of DubiMotors
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, analyse Platform usage, and detect fraudulent activity.

- AI interaction logs: Retained for up to 90 days for quality and abuse monitoring
10. Your Rights
Under the UAE PDPL and applicable law, you have the following rights:
- Right to access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Right to correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right to deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Right to object: Object to our processing of your data for marketing purposes
- Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for processing based on consent at any time
- Right to data portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

11. Security

12. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@dubimotors.ae and we will delete it promptly.
13. International Data Transfers
Your personal information may be processed and stored on servers located outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union, by our third-party service providers. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable UAE data protection law and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
